A home may have one or many sump pumps depending on the ground water around your home. We recommend that you replace your sump pump and batteries for backup systems every 3 to 5 years depending on usage. Sump pumps remove ground water that has collected in your basement/ crawl space sump pit which prevents flooding in your basement.
